CBC Student Dies In Accident


Central Baptist College Statement


On Friday night August 12, the Central Baptist College community lost one of its own. Student Cody Miller of Forrest City, Ark. was killed in a vehicle accident on Dave Ward Drive in Conway. Cody was a member of the CBC Mustangs Junior Varsity Baseball Team and was a member of Student Orientation Staff. Cody was preparing to begin his second year at CBC.


“This is an extremely difficult time for everyone in the CBC family,” said Central Baptist College President Terry Kimbrow. “On behalf of Central Baptist College I want to express our deepest sympathies to Cody’s family and friends. Please keep his family, friends, coaches, teammates, and classmates in your prayers.”


The College is planning to host a time of prayer at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14 in the Burgess Auditorium. The College is also working with the campus Counseling Center to make counseling services available to students early next week, ahead of the start of the fall semester which begins on Thursday, August 18.
