Central Baptist College has a new support organization to enhance and promote the Mustang Athletic Department. The Mustang Club was recently formed in late fall, 2014. The organization has met several times, elected officers to assist with the Mustang Club efforts, and are actively seeking members. "We are very excited to offer an opportunity for the community to support our student-athletes,” said Lyle Middleton, Athletic Director.
The CBC Mustang Club exists to aid the Mustang teams, coaches, and student-athletes. This will be accomplished by promoting Mustang athletic events to increase game attendance and offer volunteer & financial support, in order to support and develop outstanding student-athletes and teams. The Mustang Athletic Department competes in the National Athletic Intercollegiate Association (NAIA) and the following sports: Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's and Women's Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Men's and Women's Golf, Men's and Women's Soccer, Volleyball, and Wrestling. "The Central Baptist College Mustang Athletic Department has a desire to compete at a high level in all sports as well as connect with the city of Conway. The Mustang Club will help us do both,” said Ryan Johnson, Vice President for Enrollment Management.
The membership levels for the Mustang Club begin at $50 and provide individuals a great opportunity to support the student-athlete population, which makes up near 53% of the overall student population. The benefits of each level are highlighted in the brochure below. Our student-athletes have a unique opportunity to go out into other communities and represent CBC and our mission and the Mustang Club provides with you with an opportunity to support these students.
