Natural & Social Sciences
The Division of Natural & Social Sciences at Central Baptist College exists to assist students in pursuing God’s call on their lives in graduate studies and careers related to the disciplines of the natural and social sciences. Majors are offered in Biology, Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Molecular Biosciences, Psychology & Counseling and Psychology & Social Services. Baccalaureate degrees may be tailored to accommodate the needs of students preparing for graduate studies in athletic training, biology, counseling, chiropractic, dentistry, medicine (allopathic or osteopathic), occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician’s assistant, psychology, social work or sociology. The Associate’s Degree in General Education (Science Emphasis), through judicious choice of electives, satisfies the course requirements for the various nursing programs in this region. The division also provides content coursework for students preparing for teacher licensure in Middle-Level Education (math & science). All students of Central Baptist College interact with the faculty of this division through general education courses in astronomy, biology, chemistry, mathematics, physical science, physics, psychology and sociology.
