Purpose

This document details the agreement between you and Central Baptist College concerning usage of the College’s Internet sites and Web services. Your usage of the Central Baptist College domain (cbc.edu), its Internet sites, and any of its services is subject to the terms outlined in this document. The College reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without notice. Revised terms will always be available on the Central Baptist College Web site.

Your Agreement

Your use of any Central Baptist College Web services constitutes a binding acceptance of these terms, including subsequent modifications. If any additional terms or policies posted on our Web sites conflict with the terms outlined here, the additional terms will take precedence and you agree to accept those terms or policies.

The Central Baptist College Web Team reserves the right to:

  1. Establish best practices concerning the use of our Web services
  2. Modify, limit, disable, or terminate all or any part of our Web services
  3. Decline, move, or delete any content that you submit or that is available on our sites
  4. Disable or delete accounts, including material contained within the account

Our Web services may include announcements and administrative messages necessary to keep you informed about the maintenance, security, and additional features of our Web services. You agree to receive these messages and understand that you are unable to opt out of these messages.

All materials published on our Web sites are protected by copyright and owned by or licensed to the College or their respective authors. You agree not to create, copy, modify, transmit, or sell the content on our sites in whole or in part without express written permission of the copyright owner and such permission has been noted on the pages. You also agree not to modify any software from our sites in any manner or form. 

Views and Opinions

The individual domains (cbcmustangs.com, mycampus.cbc.edu, library.cbc.edu, etc.) contain views and opinions that may not necessarily reflect those of the College; therefore, the College is not responsible for the content in these areas. In addition, the College is not responsible for postings by users in polls, message boards, or feedback sections of our sites.

Quality and Accuracy

The College does not guarantee the quality or accuracy of the content on our sites. You may be exposed to content that you consider to be objectionable or inaccurate, and you bear all risks associated with using that content. We reserve the right to remove any content that may violate these terms or is deemed objectionable.

Third Party Sites

Links to Web pages not contained within our Web domain (cbc.edu) are considered third party sites. The College is not responsible for the content of those sites. When visiting third party sites, you are subject to any terms posted on such sites. You agree that the College will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any of your transactions with third party sites.

Privacy

We do not collect or use your information for any outside purpose.  Information obtained from using this site is used internally only.

Your Conduct

You agree that you will abide by all local, state, and federal laws as well as follow the College’s Network Usage Guidelines.  You agree that the College will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may result if you fail to comply with these requirements.
