I am a 33-year veteran in the field of education with an emphasis in K-12 physical education, coaching and middle school math. I became an administrator, after 10 years of teaching, at both the principal and superintendent levels. Before moving to higher education, I also worked as a consultant to struggling schools in the state of Arkansas. I have made multiple presentations in the areas of adult learning, strategic planning, educational data analysis, and technology in the classroom. I am a lifelong learner who strives to learn something new every day.
I have three children and seven grandchildren who are a very important part of my life. My husband and I love the outdoors to include hunting, fishing, and kayaking. We both also train and instruct in martial arts.
